Hello fellow building code officials
For all of us that work in the building code enforcement industry as inspectors, plans examiners and building officials. We are looking to create a new Building Officials Association to address our needs that are not being met by any current organizations. Below we list some of the items that we would like to see this association accomplish.

Below we list some of the items that we would like to see this association accomplish.
Goals and Purposes
- Establish a single organization that represents and unites all the building code professionals within the state of Oklahoma.
- Address all items that the members find to be important for our industry.
- Address the needs of building code professionals in enforcing the state and local adopted building codes.
- Assist in the development of new and continuing development of existing building code professionals.
- Encourage building officials, local jurisdictions, and building professionals to adopt and use state uniformity standards.
- Be involved and promote proper legislation within the state of Oklahoma when it comes to all things related to building codes.
- Help establish uniformity standards for plan reviews and inspections in the state of Oklahoma per the state adopted building codes.
- Promote recommended minimum standards and qualifications for plan examiners, inspectors and Chief building officials working in the state of Oklahoma.
- Be involved and promote good legislation for all things related to the building industry.
